Tar Heels on Minor League Opening Day Rosters

After more than 600 days away due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Minor League Baseball returns to action Tuesday.

As of 2 p.m. Tuesday, 17 former North Carolina players were listed on Opening Day rosters, including many who are entering their first full professional seasons. Among them is Aaron Sabato – who the Minnesota Twins took 27th overall in the 2020 MLB Draft – and Michael Busch – who Baseball America ranks as MLB’s No. 77 prospect.
