At long last, though, the 2022 Major and Minor League seasons are underway.
With the Triple-A season starting Tuesday, the MLB season kicking off Thursday and the rest of the Minor League levels opening play Friday, here’s a look at where you can find 24 former Tar Heels, along with their 2021 stats.

According to MLB Network insider Jon Heyman, Matt Harvey is close to signing a Minor League deal with the Baltimore Orioles.
The Philadelphia Phillies placed Kent Emanuel (left elbow impingement) on the 60-day injured list on March 20.
The Arizona D-backs placed J.B. Bukauskas (Grade 2 teres major muscle strain) on the 60-day injured list on March 23.
The Los Angeles Angels placed Cooper Criswell (right shoulder soreness) on the 10-day injured list Monday.
After spending Spring Training with the Cleveland Guardians, Brett Daniels is expected to join the Triple-A Columbus Clippers.
